I have a three day weekend ahead of me… if involves a few dinners with friends, shopping, markets and shooting blog content. I am keen!!

I once read, that in regards to social media, we were never meant to know this many people. I’m going to get all grandma on you now, but back in the day, you knew those you went to school with or worked with or were friends of a friend. Now, we can say, yep I know 2000+ people that I follow. That’s 2000 more opinions to contend with. I thought of this as I was reading this post by Hannah.

When people share a post-birth photo, or bikini picture or something that makes them even the tiniest bit vulnerable – in fact, anything we post!- yeah, that is brave.

Hannah talks about protecting herself online by withholding information and I can really relate.

I really like the idea of this Aldi skincare set, but Brow Queen Amy’s review makes me think I’ll give it a miss. However, what a fab idea for a mum or someone who needs to up the ante with their skincare routine?

Hey hey!

This week has been busyyyyy with work, and when I’m not working I’m trying to organise my Blogmas posts.

Lots of great ideas but so little time!

I also spent Friday night at a local festival with some of my friends. It was so fun! This time last year we celebrate our final exams at the same festival. It was a bittersweet moment realising it had literally been one year since high school.

So much has changed, but at the same time, not much.

I am suuuuuuper excited to announce that my first gift guide will be going live this Sunday! I can’t wait to share the brands with you.

The rest of 2019 is shaping up to be hectic with lots of decisions to be made.

In terms of uni, I can’t really do anything until offers are released late December / mid January… so I am trying not to stress about that yet. There is nothing I can do about it!

On the other hand, I’m like, should I just up and move somewhere else?

As scary as that sounds, it’s mostly the fact that I would miss my puppy so much that stops me hahah.

Happy Friday! It’s a long weekend here in Melbourne and I have a few days off from work.

So far I’ve spent them eating donuts at the beach….

But I also have to do some life admin like a dentist appointment and a hair cut… “just a trim” she says, next minute 💇‍♀️

I was lucky enough to attend the BYS x Spotlight Halloween Party earlier this week… still pinching myself at how lucky I was to attend! I have posted all about it here… where you can also see a picture of my actual face! Ha!

It was really daunting to share a photo of myself, honestly.

But the photos from the event were just too fun, and also, I was overwhelmed by how many people said “it’s so nice to put a face to the name.”

Sharing my face certainly won’t be a regular thing but at least now you know hehe.

Hate to be a Debbie downer but Friday realllllly doesn’t have the same effect when you work in retail haha. Nonetheless, the weekend is almost here and it means I’m sharing the love for some cool content.

I was really tempted to not make this post this week.

I have been SO busy. I was just going to make the pic for the gram and call it a day.

But I thought to myself, “why am I not doing something that brings me joy?”

That kicked my butt into gear, and so I stayed up a little later last night (a lot! I got distracted by IG haha) to collate this post for you.

On Sunday, my blogging bestie Daisy and I went for brunch at Grain Store. See the deliciousness here. We had to wait a while for a table, but it was so worth it! Such a cool (but v noisy!) vibe and incredible food. We both got the corn fritters. And iced chai lattes… my new obsession!
